Our Story
We started the Free Range Junker Podcast with a simple idea: let's mess around and find out! We listen to a lot of podcasts when we are traipsing around America to find inventory for our vintage shops...and a lot of them well, they just kinda suck. There wasn't a pod out there for antique or vintage enthusiasts that wasn't all fancy shmansy antiques roadshow. The ones we were finding were all just about thrifting vintage clothes or guys selling sneakers on ebay out of their mom's basements. We get a lot of people that ask us about our adventures, so we thought hey why not- we like to gab and spill the tea of all the wackiness we see- so let's tell everybody! And just like that Free Range Junker was born! This is a good ole' podcast recorded from Wisconsin for regular folks that like to get a little dusty while sortin' through the rusty!
What WE KNOW
We know a little about a lot of stuff- we know patina isn't always a bad thing when its on a gas pump from the '60s. We know the excitement of finding a boxed Tonka truck that's never been played with at a garage sale. We enjoy long walks through a great flea market on a sunny day. And we absolutely LOVE a good curb find! So we always say - if you have friends that think you pick up too much stuff on the side of the road, you really should get better friends. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life!
